1. 如果你只記得住一條，那么一定把這句話默念5遍：It’s not what you say; it’s how you say it.
比如說，話題卡拿到a sports star, 結(jié)果你是對(duì)體育完全不感興趣的宅男宅女，立馬腦袋一片空白，怎么破？
別慌，在1分鐘的準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間里，不用去糾結(jié)到底講“誰”，快速想想自己為什么不喜歡體育，然后趕快想一個(gè)不怎么常見的體育項(xiàng)目（basketball, football什么的直接pass掉）想想可以怎么描述，最好想出一個(gè)短語詞組來。時(shí)間到了以后，直接開始解釋：Well, this is kinda(kind of) a tough topic for me because I’m really not into sports, at all. I’m never good at any sports, and the only sport that I take the slightest interest in is probably figure skating(選一個(gè)不怎么常見的體育項(xiàng)目以顯示詞匯量). You know, it’s kinda like dancing, and the skaters usually dress very elegantly, and you get to listen to all kinds of music while they skate. So it’s really a feast for the eyes and the ears (加分詞組) 講完這些，你應(yīng)該稍微也有點(diǎn)思路了，可以接著介紹一下你略微了解的一個(gè)從事這個(gè)運(yùn)動(dòng)的運(yùn)動(dòng)員，成名的故事無非就是起步卑微(a humble beginning), 之后堅(jiān)持不懈（persistent/determined, trained very hard）之后一舉成名(made one’s name in …) 當(dāng)然，針對(duì)體育運(yùn)動(dòng)，獲得冠軍(became the champion)，打破紀(jì)錄(broke the record)這些詞組必須會(huì)哦。注意時(shí)態(tài)！
2. 一定要注意使用連接詞！！
【序列結(jié)構(gòu)】
To begin with, First of all, For a start/For starters, …
What matters most is …/ the most obvious reason is …
for one thing, … for another,…
besides, plus, in addition,what’s more, furthermore,
moreover, another thing is …,more importantly
In short, In a nutshell,...
【引出某方面】
Speaking of…; In terms of…; When it comes to …; As for…, …
【轉(zhuǎn)折、對(duì)比】
on the upside, … on the other hand
on the contrary, …
Even if …
3. 一定不要重復(fù)用詞！！
最愛被濫用，也最好快速提分的就是關(guān)于好惡的表達(dá)，這里簡單列幾個(gè)：
be into/interested in/fond of/keen on/crazy about/big on
tend to
I don’t care much for …
I can’t stand …
I am/am not a big fan of …
The last thing I would do is … (接動(dòng)詞原型)
還有幾個(gè)最常被濫用的形容詞：
interesting
a lot of fun, catchy, eye-catching, fascinating, eye-opening, thought-provoking,impressive, unique
beautiful
[地點(diǎn)] magnificent, breath-taking,picture-postcard
[物品]well-made, well-designed

amusing, humorous, witty, hilarious,optimistic, sociable, have a superb sense of humor, the joke cracks me up

comfy and cozy, pleasant,enjoyable, relaxing, soothing, refreshing/uplifting
delicious
tasty, aromatic, mouth-watering,appetizing, fabulous, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside
useful/convenient
multifunctional , user-friendly,come in handy, time-efficient, portable
a lot of
通用：plenty of, loads/tons of …, a great variety of
可數(shù)：a bunch of, a host of
不可數(shù)：a great deal of, a large amount of
4. 至少paraphrase兩次！！
一個(gè)很好的策略就是先假裝自己忘了一個(gè)詞：He is famous for … what is that called? You know, a kind of trick you do in basketball when you jump so high that you push the ball into the hoop from the top, oh it’s called dunking.
還有一個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)就是在談到自己的專業(yè)領(lǐng)域的時(shí)候，用術(shù)語，然后再解釋！
5. 語音quick fix
語音語調(diào)不是十天半個(gè)月能改變的，但是在這上考場(chǎng)的最后一小時(shí)，就記住一點(diǎn)吧：重讀！！考試的時(shí)候一定不要一味追求語速像念經(jīng)，或者習(xí)慣性地重讀句末最后一個(gè)單詞；相反，句子里面哪些是“新信息”，就強(qiáng)調(diào)出來，重讀不僅是讀得重，也可以通過放緩語速，增加短暫的停頓來實(shí)現(xiàn)。說話的時(shí)候增加手勢(shì)，也能幫助你更有自信，調(diào)整節(jié)奏。 |
